NEWS 2015

26/11/2015 Shit happens again ... At this very moment that I write these words we should be playin' on stage in Cafe Central in Brussels. These days everybody knows about the terrorist threat in Brussels this week, with as a consequence a lot of things cancelled. This particularly gig was in fact not cancelled, but only 2 of us wanted to come to play in Brussels, so this time we had to cancel our gig ourselves ...
21/11/2015 Today you had to find us on stage in the well-known pub Gasolina, but instead I'm drinkin' some cool beers at home. It was always a difficult communication since we were invited to play there, but in the week before the gig the female bartender finally mailed us back that the pub was closed because of a bankrupt, so gig cancelled.
14/10/2015 Another fine gig we had last week in a local pub in Oeselgem, in nearly the backyarden of Keez' place. Things went smooth again: good gig, good people, good pub, and 10 am was again a very late hour till we arrived home ...
24/10/2015 It was a very long time ago that we gigged in Tielt, and last week it was time do it again. The occasion was a private party organized by the man behind the famous Poes-beer, let's say our beer-colleague in Tielt. A lof of people, good party, good gig, and very late in the morning till we got home ...
06/10/2015 Rat City Riots is the indoor edition of the famous outdoor Ratrock festival in Harelbeke, and indoors was even more fun than outdoors. We opened the night at 4.30 pm and the venue was already filled for 3 quarters. We played a good gig that was much appreciated by the audience. Big names that played after us: Varukers (GBR), Vandal X, Vice Squad (GBR), Funeral Dress, Casualties (USA). We really had fun there. At about 4 am we returned home, and soon we got a police car behind us. Of course they made us stop and driver Zjantie had to do an alcohol test which turned out to be positive. To tell things shortly: we had to spend 6 hours in the car on a road in the middle of nowhere before we could go to search his driver license again at the police station. No need to tell we were thirsty and hungry by that time and had to visit another pub before getting home. I only found my bed in the evening after quite some drinks with the family :).
27/09/2015 The 15th edition of our Rock@SKP on 12/09 was again entirely to the point, and this counts as well for the quality of the bands as for the quantity of the audience. As for me personally I was overwhelmed by the sudden death of my father who we just went to burry the very same afternoon. For obvious reasons, we  skipped the gig of our family band Freddy & the D'oghz. However I didn’t want to skip our own gig. As a result I played a quite emotional concert, which seemed to be very appreciated by the audience. Thanx all of you for your support and your hugs.
26/07/2015 Yesterday we had to play an open-air gig at Dudzele but the weather decided otherwise: a short but heavy storm in the mornin' blew away the tent, a part of the stage and some other stuff too, after which the organization decided to cancel their activities for the rest of the weekend. We feel sorry for you, guys of the organization :(, and we hope you don't have too much damage.
25/07/2015 The people behind "De Ark van Pollare", an organization that takes care of stray animals, set up a benefit-festival on the 4th of July. We met an enthusiastic organization and a lot of bands, so even the small audience and the awful sound didn't bother us nor the other bands to give a good gig and to amuse us !
03/07/2015 Again a bit late to let you know we played another gig in our homecity Tielt on 22/05. It was from 2006 we played in Tielt itself. Peure Rock was an open-air festival organised by the local care and counselling centre for people with a disability. The festival took place in a really beautiful environment, the bands were a mix-up of different styles, and we amused ourselves again very well as we stayed till the last persons at the place.
16/06/2015 We're nearly halfway 2015 and it looks like we spent a lot of time this year in the preparation of the second edition of our TieltRockt!-festival, a threedayfestival with all the 29 bands of our hometown Tielt. As said it was an enormous work to organize it all, but it was again a very very satisfying edition. Previously to that, we had in February fun on stage in the Walloonish part of Belgium with Les Slugs, and in March we had fun in Ostend with the British guys of Monkfish, two times a good gig if we remember well ;).
