Struggler: Wanted

Bloodstains says:

III (1999): "... From Brussels to the sleepy province of Limburg. In 1980 a bunch of youngsters got inspired by the example of their bigger brothers De Brassers, who were causing some sensation with their non-conformistic behaviour, to start their own band: Struggler. They started out rather punk but then threaded heavy in the footsteps of de Brassers & particularly their one album is a prime example of cold wave. Both songs featured here come from their debut 7" (a ltd edition of 300 it seems) released on Doggy Doo (their second 7" & the Suspects 7" were also released on this label). The line up for this 7" was Danny Stevens (vocals), Rene Hulsbosch (guitars), Ivo Hendrix (bass) & Erwin Jans (drums). For their second single they were joined by Frank Jamart who later moved onto another Limburg cold/new-wave band AA (nothing punk about them though). To complete the discography: Struggler released a full album 'It was a long conversation but at the end we didn't shake hands' & an EP 'Recrudesce'."
