II (1998): "... Chainsaw, another of the notorious Brussels punkgang with the first punkrecord ever released in Belgium (1977), also the first release on Romantik (which released a total of 4 7"s & who's owner - Chainsaw producer - Klaus Milan as well as the band were habitués at the Brussels punkbar les Gémeaux). They also made claims to being the first Belgian punkband, but had to take back when the Kids could prove they'd already done three gigs (in 1976) before Chainsaw started. Guitarist Jerry Wanker went on to X-Pulsion then to Digital Dance, drummer Bob became the singer of Streets & Contingent (see further on), singer Dan Dee went on to Modern World & Luna Park (lp on Philips in 1979) & bassplayer Mickey Mike later started up his one man band Snowy Red & was inadvertedly responsible for launching the entire techno/new beat crap."
