Long time no hear ? Yes you bet. First the Smallfest/H²p/JIN-fest was cancelled, also the Markegem-gig was all the time postponed, now it will take place in October. We were contacted for some more festivals but were finally not invited: the Bootrockin' Riots in Stasegem (maybe next issue), Loco Loco in Merchtem (probably next year), Velorock in Ostend (no reason given, no answer anymore). In the mean time we made ourselves useful at the Zythos Beerfestival, at the WBF-Beerhappening, and at a local beerhappening in Tielt (where our own beer of course was represented). In between we saw giggin' de Brassers and Wire. Furthermore with The Thirsty Scums, after almost 10 years we quit the Tribute to the Ramones in favour of a Tribute to the Sex Pistols, which we're quite busy rehearsing now. Our mailorder on this site is replaced by an eBay-shop, which still doesn't count yet our complete mailorder but already more than 60 articles.

Once again it's proven that local beers and dirty scums go extremely well together. Last Saturday we played in Gullegem at an occasion where the bar served local beers. We especially liked the Netebuk and the Heerlijkheid. We played a very good show, in which the crowd went mad at the end, and didn't stop shouting for encores. Needless to say that we amused ourselves very well. Thank you Gullegem !

First gig of 2008 last Saturday led us to Charleroi to one of the "Free Style Rock"-festivals regularly organised by Vortex. We were the first band and after a good soundcheck we were already in the first song of the gig confronted with monitors that didn't work. No one succeeded in let them work, so we played a gig in which we hardly heard ourselves singin'. Afterwards we were told that also the audience hadn't much heard of our singin' qualities. Only from the third band on the sound became reasonable and then we had more then plenty of time to drink beers on the good and punky gigs of 't Vettig Front, Vortex and Pestpocken (DEU).
